CeBIT 2007: Gembird shows smallest active loudspeakers for iPod & CO

- mini sound miracles with 2x 0.8 Watts (RMS) save 90% river compared with conventional Kalotten loudspeakers with same achievement

Munich, 16 January 2007 - on the CeBIT of this year (15. - 21. March) shows Gembird in resounds to 19, conditions B30, the smallest active loudspeakers for iPod & CO. Under the mark Butterfly will bring Gembird the 120g easy and 11.3 to x 3.3 x 3.3 cm small sound miracles into the trade. The loudspeaker consists of two thighs, which can be opened unfold as desired on nearly 180.

Sound good: 90% less power absorption
Butterfly uses only 2 x 0.8 Watts (RMS). The carbon fiber loudspeakers bring same power output as conventional Kalottenlautsprecher with 90% less energy consumption. The four AAA batteries (contained in the scope of supply) provide in such a way for up to 30 hours music benefit. The twelve front diaphragm (six per thigh) and the two bass reflex tunnels with exit at the upper end of the thighs, behind it, provide in each case for an optimal sound experience. The integrated Limiter prevents an overriding, as the respective maximum output of the source of sound is limited. With Notebooks that corresponds somewhat to 14% of power output, with iPod and other mp3-Playern is between 50% and 80%.

The loudspeakers are attached simply over the 3,5mm Y-jack plug to iPod, mobile phone & CO. In the scope of supply even additionally a 2,5mm-Adapter is contained.

Butterfly is immediately available for 49 (UVP) in the trade. The mini loudspeakers with maximum sound are in black/silver or in white/orange available.
